The Author

Muhamad Afiq

Muhamad Afiq was born in a beautiful island off coast of Perak in late 80's. He holds a bachelor of Applied Science with Islamic Studies majoring in biotechnology from University of Malaya in 2013. Then in 2018, he completed his Master of Islamic Studies under the Department of Fiqh & Usul, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya.
Currently, he is pursuing PhD at University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is actively involved in writing and publishing articles and proceedings. He also involved in development of Malaysian Halal Standard, MS2393:2019-Islamic and Halal Terminologies as professional Working Group (WG). He also holds Halal Professional Board (HPB) Internal Halal Auditor (2018), Halal Professional Analyst (2014), Kursus Wajib Tenaga Pengajar Halal (2015).
